My top five Anime Movies.

Anime is gaining a lot of popularity all across the world due to it's amazing storyline, action, breathtaking views, romance, humor and many more things. Earlier I used  to have no intrest in anime at all because i thought it's cartoon and is meant for only small children, but i was absoluetly wrong. Anime is something which is meant for everyone to enjoy, childrens as well as adults. Trust me there's no feel in any movies or dramas like we get in anime.

Here are my top five anime movies.

                             1. Your Name.

taki and mitsuha
Mitsuha Miyamizu, a high school girl, yearns to live
the life of a boy in the bustling city of Tokyo—a dream that stands in stark contrast to her present life in the countryside. Meanwhile in the city, Taki Tachibana lives a busy life as a high school student while juggling his part-time job and hopes for a future in architecture.

Kimi no Na wa. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki's actions, which begin to have a dramatic impact on each other's lives, weaving them into a fabric held together by fate and circumstance.

One day, Mitsuha awakens in a room that is not her own and suddenly finds herself living the dream life in Tokyo—but in Taki's body! Elsewhere, Taki finds himself living Mitsuha's life in the humble countryside. In pursuit of an answer to this strange phenomenon, they begin to search for one another.

Kimi no Na wa. (Your name.) is a 2016 Japanese anime romantic fantasy drama film directed, written, and edited by Makoto Shinkai, based on his own novel of the same name. The film has received critical acclaim, being praised for its animation and emotional impact, and was also a commercial success, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of all time in Japan and the highest-grossing anime film worldwide, with, as of January 15, 2017, a gross of over $330 million USD. With heart touching Ost's, this movie takes us to another world and makes us miss a person who dosen't exists.

                             2. Wolf Children.

Wolf Children( okami Kodomo no Ame toYuki,"Wolf Children Ame and Yuki")is a 2012 Japanese anime fim directed and co-written by Mamoru Hosoda. The flim stars the voices of Aoi Miyazaki, Takao Osawa and Haru Kuroki. The story follows a young mother who is left to raise two half-human half-wolf children, Ame and Yuki, after their werewolf father dies.

wolf childrenI absolutely loved it. It was stunningly beautiful and the most heartwarming portrayal of motherly love. Hana was without a doubt the best anime mother and one of the best mothers in general that I have ever seen. She was entirely devoted to giving her children a better life. She never once got angry with them or yelled at them even when they were being rowdy or misbehaving. Literally everything she did was to give her children a good life. If that's not pure love, I don't know what is.

                     3. Grave of Fireflies.

The sadness is definitely personal. Its hard for me to usually cry at a movie but is one did, specifically because my younger sister was around the same age as the sister in the film when we watched it, and she's exactly like her in character. You might not have a soul. It's one of the saddest films ever made.

grave of fireflies

grave of fireflies

The story of Seita and Setsuko, two young Japanese siblings, living in the declining days of World War II. When an American firebombing separates the two children from their parents, the two siblings must rely completely on one another while they struggle to fight for their survival. Written by Kyle Perez

                            4. Spirited Away.

spirited away

Chihiro’s whining character at the start brings out the strongest theme of this film-childhood. The journey that awaits her develops her in the course of the film into a more self-reliant and confident individual who, by the end, is no longer spoiled brat. The most personal thing she learns to value is her family. The simple idea of ‘you never know what you have until it’s gone’ is played out through her initial isolation and her struggle to get back what she has lost. Never was the adult request to ‘grow up and acquire freedom’ so imaginatively and impressively realised.

spirited away

The nature of the story is tailor-made for animation. Many of the characters engage in shape-shifting (boys become dragons, adults become pigs, a giant baby becomes a bloated mouse) and the bathhouse is frequented by a variety of strange and unusual creatures. While a few of the inhabitants of the sprit world look human, most appear to be anything but that. Take the boiler operator Kamaji (David Ogden Stiers), for example. At first glance, he’s just a cranky old man with a frizzy beard. Then we notice that he has eight legs and walks like a spider. We also find out that he’s not as intimidating as he looks. His initially surly disposition melts away and he becomes of one Chihiro’s numerous friends.

5. Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms.

maquia
The inevitable fate of anyone that lives is that those they know will die. That's the underlying precept of this astounding and moving high fantasy from first-time feature director Mari Okada, a debut that blends magic, politics, tragedy, and hope into something profound and beautiful.

maquia
The people of Iorph have a lifespan of hundreds of years and maintain their teenage appearances for life, but when the peace of this town is shattered by those who want the secret to their longevity for themselves, a young girl named Maquia is forced to escape. Wandering the land alone, upon finding an orphaned baby she chooses to raise him, but as this boy grows up so the difference in their lifespans is thrown into ever-sharper relief.
