Anime that will make you cry like a baby.

Well, we all have come across an anime which is very emotional and makes us cry and we can never get over it. Honestly, even after completing the anime whenever I think about it, I feel pain in my heart. Even the characters are fictional, we will always have a space in our hearts of their presence forever.

garden of words

So today, I am going to list some of the anime series/movies that will literally make u cry like a baby. If u don't cry watching these movies, u are definitely an emotionless creature.

1.      GRAVE OF FIREFLIES.

grave of fireflies

This is one of the saddest films, not only in anime but all over I have ever seen. 'Grave of Fireflies' is one of the saddest film ever made in my opinion. This movie should be watched by everyone as this movie also depicts the miserable lives of people during World War II and Japan was worst affected by it. This is a story of a brother Seita and his little sister Setsuko and how they partially survive in this terrifying situation. I highly recommend this movie to everyone even if you're not an anime fan. This is a must watch movie for every person.

2. MAQUIA: WHEN THE

PROMISED FLOWER BLOOMS.

maquia
Well, if you have seen the poster of this movie you might have felt that it's a romance anime. But you are absolutely wrong. Though not unusual for animated movies to provoke tears, Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms is perhaps the second animated film I would openly classify as a “tearjerker” (the first being Grave of the Fireflies). However, although there is manipulation, the movie earns every watery eye and sniffing nose it gets. With its complex storyline, delicately intricate character arcs, and evocative animation, the directorial debut of anime writer Mari Okada is more than worthy of the international distribution it has received. And, despite being set in a Lord of the Rings-ish fantasy world, the core themes of loss, aging, and motherhood have real-world emotional resonance.

3. YOUR LIE IN APRIL.

Your Lie in April is an excellent Anime that I absolutely adore and highly recommend to everyone. The last episode is one of my favourite episode in anime series so far. This anime has sad ending and it's so beautifully depicted. If you love good music or want to see an emotional story that will tug at your heartstrings, then this is one I highly recommend you watch. They say that when you fall in love, your whole world changes. The grey becomes colored, the dull becomes vivid, and the little moments become unforgettable ones. While there may be other stories that are written better or other productions that are animated better, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) struck a chord with me that I hadn’t felt with a show in a long time. Even with its flaws, I loved every moment of this show, both as a musician and as an ordinary viewer.

4. I WANT TO EAT YOUR        PANCREAS.

Say what you want about this movie being generic or being acclaimed only because it is a “tearjerker”, but I don’t care. I loved this movie, and I cried my eyes out. The reason people love tearjerkers is because people want to be moved. We want to experience something that will truly take us away from our lives and make us feel something so strong that we are moved to tears. This movie did just that. In an effort to avoid spoiling anything for anyone, I won’t write about the climax and ending, but it was unexpected. That said, I couldn’t imagine it ending any other way. This was a beautiful portrayal of a genuinely unique and special relationship between two people. I highly recommend it!

There are many other series and movies which can make you cry but the ones I mentioned are with sad endings and you can't get over it. I'll be soon coming up with my next post so see you guys there. Stay safe and Merry Christmas!!! Stay Tuned!!
